Corrine Benandi

Corrine Benandi joined the KETK team in February of 2021. She was born and raised in South Louisiana, but is thrilled to call East Texas home!

She grew up in a town with a population under 5,000 people where everyone knew
everyone. This is where she learned that everyone has a story and her love for storytelling began. She has always wanted to become a reporter… so she could use her voice to share people’s stories with the world.

Corrine attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she studied Mass Communications with a concentration in Broadcasting and minored in English. She graduated in December 2020 with honors. Aside from the advanced-level reporting she was exposed to during her studies, she also had the pleasure of working in two different newsrooms throughout college.

When she’s not at the station, Corrine is spending time with her husband, their two dogs Jax and Rougar, and their cat Amara. Corrine loves singing, dancing, and exploring. She hopes to see the world one day. The young journalist has never met a stranger, and loves meeting new people. This is her favorite aspect of her career.

A few words she would use to describe herself are hardworking, passionate, team player, creative, and dependable. She is overjoyed to bring all of these qualities with her to the KETK/FOX51 team, and waking up dark and early with all of you every morning in her role as KETK TODAY and FOX GOOD DAY morning reporter!
