Danica Sauter

Danica came to KETK in August of 2020.

Originally from Lancaster, California, she moved to Houston when she was 10. She went to Cy-Fair High School and was actively involved in both yearbook and choir. She graduated in 2014.

In 2016, Danica went to Gary Job Corps in San Marcos where she got certified in Microsoft Word and learned basics in Office Administration. At the trade school, Danica sang for several events including a Halloween party, a fashion show, an education event for the city of San Marcos and at the graduation of Gary Job Corps.

Two years later, Danica wound up at Stephen F. Austin State University where she was a DJ at her school’s radio station, held a Campus and Community show where she interviewed people in the Nacogdoches and Lufkin community and worked for the Marketing Communications team at the school.

While in college, Danica had an internship at 104.1 KRBE in Houston and was a videographer for her school’s newspaper The Pine Log. Danica eventually graduated in 2020 with a B.A. in Mass Communications.

When she is not working, Danica likes to hang out with friends, listen to music, sing and record covers. She also spends a lot of time with her cockatiel, Mr. Darcy.

Her favorite places to be are Disney World, Trader Joe’s, Barnes & Noble and a good thrift store.
