Dianté Marigny is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington. She received her Bachelor of Communications in Broadcasting and a minor in African American Studies. As an undergraduate, she wrote for her school newspaper in the Business and Life + Entertainment beats and she hosted a weekly radio show for the school’s radio station. She interned for PBS affiliate KERA, Dallas Weekly, D Magazine, and Dallas Free Press. Once she graduated, she began freelancing for D Magazine, Dallas Innovates, Dallas Free Press, and Dallas Weekly. Although she loves writing for magazines and newspapers, her passion is being in front of the camera and telling stories.
Dianté is from New Orleans, Louisiana and she grew up in Dallas, Texas. She obtained her real estate license in 2014 and is still currently practicing in Dallas. She believes in hard work and following her dreams, which is why she decided to pursue her journalism career despite already having a real estate career.
In her spare time, Dianté enjoys spending time with her two daughters, exploring the great state of Texas, crocheting clothing items for family, touring million-dollar homes, and creating content on social media. She has never been to Tyler but she is so excited to become a part of the community!
