Judd Baker is a Morning Anchor for KETK Today and Fox 51 Good Day.
Judd grew up in the small West Texas town of Muleshoe. He always knew he wanted to work in the news business. He said his mom probably still has VHS tapes of him doing news reports from behind the ironing board in the living room.
Judd attended West Texas A&M University, where he studied Mass Communication with an emphasis in Broadcasting and Electronic Media.
Judd started his news career while still a college freshman, running studio cameras at KAMR-TV. He later moved into the newsroom as a video editor.
In February 2017, Judd moved to New York City where he was an intern for Fox News Channel. After the 10-week program, he returned to Amarillo to work with KAMR Local 4 News and Fox 14 News’ digital team, and eventually moved into reporting and became Weekend Anchor.
When he is not at the station, Judd is usually binging episodes of Doctor Who, or fueling his commercial aviation obsession on his flight simulator.
He is excited to join the KEKT/FOX51 family, and looks forward to greeting East Texas every morning from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.!
