UPDATE: An 18-year-old and two juveniles have been arrested in connection to the Monday night burglaries of several businesses in Rusk, according to the Rusk Police Department.

Police said a significant amount of physical evidence was recovered as stolen property from La Chara’s restaurant and the two Vape Shops.

“Rusk Officers were assisted by detectives from the sheriff’s criminal investigation division. We received numerous tips and information from members of the community which greatly assisted us in solving these crimes,” said Rusk PD. “This is an excellent example of the successful outcomes that are possible when the police and community are working together to protect the community and solve crimes. Thank you for your help.”

RUSK, Texas (KETK) – The Rusk Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an individual who allegedly broke into several local businesses Monday night.

Police said this individual may be associated with a white pick-up truck and is asking if anyone recognized the tattoo on the individual’s left wrist pictured below.

“Reward for information which leads to an arrest. Any tips and information you provide will be kept confidential.”
