UPDATE (3:30 P.M.) – The victims from the plane crash in Shelby County on Wednesday have been identified as 73-year-old John D. Scull, who was the pilot, and the passenger was 81-year-old Carolyn Hooker Scull. They are both Tenaha residents.
CENTER, Texas (KETK) – The FAA released Thursday morning that two people were killed in an East Texas plane crash on Wednesday. The identities of the victims have not yet been released.
The crash occurred at 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday in a field near Center. The plane involved was a single-engine Cessna T206.
The wreckage was located just south of the Municipal Airport.
