UPDATE (3:30 P.M.) – The victims from the plane crash in Shelby County on Wednesday have been identified as 73-year-old John D. Scull, who was the pilot, and the passenger was 81-year-old Carolyn Hooker Scull. They are both Tenaha residents.

SHELBY COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – Authorities are investigating a plane crash that happened around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon in Shelby County.

The crash happened just south of the Center Municipal Airport. Officials were not able to identify passengers involved or their condition.
