Piada Italian Street Food donated fifty percent of sales to the Tyler Police Department for their grand opening Thursday.
“We did a lot of research in the community and wanted to find something the community was very passionate about,” Chef Partner Justin Allen said.
Located inside The Village at Cumberland Park on South Broadway, it’s now the seventh Piada restaurant in Texas.
According to the company’s website, the first eatery opened in 2010 with a mission to create fresh, modern Italian food focused on the preparation of high quality ingredients and attention to simplistic cooking.
