The East Texas Chapter of Master Naturalist began classes Tuesday evening at the Tyler Nature Center. The non profit organization teaches member with classroom and field training.
Courses include more than five subjects including mammalogy, aquatic systems, native plants. Classes will continue on most Tuesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. through April 11. There will be one Saturday class and three Saturday field trips.
The Master Naturalist program is sponsored by Texas Parks and Wildlife and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
