In Oklahoma shots fired during a Friday night football game landed a juvenile in police custody and another in the hospital.

It happened at McClain High School in North Tulsa.

The teen was taken to the hospital after a bullet grazed his left temple and another girl was treated by first responders after having a panic attack and hitting her head.

One witness said the students involved were young maybe eighth grade or freshmen.

The game had three minutes left between the McLain Titans and Sequoyah Indians when a single gunshot rippled through the stadium, sending some 400 panicked people running for cover.

After blasting off the single shot a 16-year-old suspect dropped the firearm and tried to flee, but was quickly apprehended outside the stadium.

Police detained three other juveniles for questioning.

A small caliber pistol was later recovered at the scene.

Tulsa Police Department stated it remains unclear whether it was gun-related.
