UPDATE: Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace has confirmed that Ruth Roser was found safe on Friday night.
TRINITY COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – Officials in Trinity County are searching for a missing woman they said may be experiencing a medical emergency.
Ruth Roser, 46, was last seen Wednesday evening wearing peach-colored leggings, a black tank top and possibly a black windbreaker. She is 5’2″, 126 pounds and officials said she has red-colored hair pulled up with either a red or white ponytail holder.
As of Friday evening, community members said there are two staging areas set up for a search. One is at the red communication trailer at the Centralia churches, the other is at the church in Nogalus.
Officials said she left her Apple Springs home sometime after 9 p.m. with no possessions, including her cell phone, and is possibly experiencing a medical emergency that sometimes causes bouts of confusion and detachment.
Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace said on Friday morning that search and rescue teams from surrounding counties are assisting them with the search on FM 357 the Centralia area.
Friday evening, members of the community requested snacks and drinks for approximately 30 people in the search team.
“She just disappeared without a trace,” Wallace said. “We are deeply concerned about her at this time.”
