SAN AUGUSTINE, Texas (KETK) – A 20-year-old Lufkin woman was injured Thursday afternoon when a semi-tractor-trailer “t-boned” her car at an intersection in San Augustine County.
The crash happened about 1pm at SH 147 and US 96 when one driver turned in front of the other.
DPS troopers say a Toyota driven by Autumn Stevens was trying to turn from SH 147 onto US 96 when she drove into the path of a Freightliner driven by George Mururu, 38, of Frisco.
Mururu was not injured during the crash. Stephens was transported to UT Tyler for treatment, her condition is unknown.
