Damage in Angelina, Sabine and Shelby County blocks roadways

ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas (KETK) – Multiple locations of trees down blocking roadways have been reported in Sabine County in the following locations:

  • SH 103
  • Maddux Creek
  • FM 276
  • FM 2024

SH 21 and SH 103 just off of Sabine County have been closed.


Power lines reported down and entangled in a fallen tree on FM 417 and FM 2694 in Shelby County.


A tree was knocked down and reportedly blocked one lane on FM 706 near SH 94 in Angelina County.

A Texas Department of Transportation, TxDOT, official said that motorists should choose alternate routes until crew can clear the the roadway.

TxDOT also warns drivers to stay alert and reduce speed in the areas.
