TYLER, Texas (KETK) — The UT Tyler women’s basketball team continues to make program history.

Not only have they qualified for their first NCAA DII Tournament, but they were able to win their first two games, and on Monday night they beat Lubbock Christian 67-64 in double overtime to advance to the Elite Eight.

The Patriots will now get ready to head to Saint Joseph’s Missouri for the quarterfinal round.
