Numerous showers and thunderstorms for most of East Texas this afternoon. Temperatures only reaching the upper 80s to lower 90s where rain occurred, and mid-90s where showers did not hit.
WE’RE NOT DONE WITH RAIN YET! As advertised, this will be a week of rain chances for East Texas. While they will be mostly in southern areas on Tuesday afternoon, they come right back for all of the area Wednesday, Thursday, and perhaps through Friday. ANY storms will likely produce heavy rain, be slow moving, and contain winds 20-50 mph at times.
Heading toward the weekend, rain chances will be slim to none, and it does get hotter and more humid!
