A strong cold front has triggered severe storms north of the Red River and this is sliding south into East Texas.
With this line moving southeast, we will see a line of intense storms capable of damaging wind gusts. Because of this storm threat, the Storm Prediction Center has the majority of East Texas in an “Enhanced” risk, and a rare “Moderate” risk for our central and northern counties. This means that numerous severe storms are likely. Our primary threat is damaging wind gusts, but hail & isolated tornadoes are possible too.
Our Storm Team will be tracking the storms overnight and into early Wednesday morning.
